Every photograph and every frame of video delivered by Sinclair Wedding Films is captured and edited by a real person, never by artificial intelligence (AI).

Introduction

At Sinclair Wedding Films we believe wedding memories should reflect real moments via authentic storytelling with every frame personally reviewed during post-production. This ensures the wedding video or film you receive reflects the genuine moments, emotions and atmosphere experienced on your special day, captured by us as it happened. While artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly common within photography and filmmaking, we have made the decision not to use AI to create, edit or alter any images or films we deliver to our couples.

Scope and Purpose

This policy applies to all imagery captured and processed during post-production.

The policy is intended to:

• Promote transparency in the post-production filmmaking process.

• Encourage ethical, responsible, and human-led creative practices.

This policy applies to all client commissions unless expressly stated otherwise.

Definitions of AI Use

For the purposes of this policy, “artificial intelligence” (AI) refers broadly to the use of algorithmic systems that can simulate or automate aspects of human creativity or decision-making within the filmmaking process. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Machine learning-based editing tools, such as those that automate editing, colour grading, or scene detection.

• Any system that significantly automates or transforms the creative process beyond conventional software tools.

• Generative AI tools that produce “original” text, visuals, or audio (e.g. large language models, text-to-image/video systems).

• Synthetic media technologies used to simulate performances, generate voices, or recreate likenesses (e.g. deepfake techniques)

Declaration of AI Use

Every wedding film and photograph delivered by Sinclair Wedding Films is edited entirely through human judgement using conventional professional editing software. Sinclair Wedding Films do not use artificial intelligence to generate, replace, enhance or manipulate our clients' images, audio or video.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Use of AI to generate imagery, dialogue, or sound design.

• Use of AI tools in editing, or any part of the post-production process.

• Use of AI tools or software to analyse or manage user data.

Note: Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools may be used for limited administrative purposes relating to our website content, such as SEO support and formatting assistance. Any such content is thoroughly reviewed by a human for accuracy and suitability before publication. We may also use website management tools that support search engine visibility and content organisation.

Technology changes. Should our approach ever change, we will update this AI policy and clearly inform future and prospective clients before any booking is accepted.
